The UCI World Cycling Centre (WCC) Regional Satellite in Musanze, Rwanda, is a premier cycling development hub serving athletes, mechanics, and cycling enthusiasts across Rwanda and the broader East African region. Established as part of the Union Cycliste Internationale's global network of training centres, the Musanze satellite brings best standard class cycling infrastructure, coaching, and technical support directly to the heart of Africa's fastest-growing cycling nation.

Our facility provides a complete ecosystem for cycling development. For athletes, we offer structured training camps across multiple disciplines including Road, MTB, and Gravel cycling, with programmes tailored to every category from Women Junior and Men Junior through to U23 and Elite level riders. Each athlete is registered in our national database, allowing us to track visits, monitor progress, and build a comprehensive record of Rwandan cycling talent.

Beyond athlete development, the WCC Musanze houses a fully equipped garage and service centre staffed by trained technicians who maintain a fleet of high-performance bicycles, provide repair and maintenance services, and train the next generation of cycling mechanics. Our stock management system ensures that parts and consumables are always available, while our rental programme makes quality bicycles accessible to visitors and developing riders who may not yet own their own equipment.

The centre also serves as a community hub, welcoming guests for training camps, accommodation, facility tours, and meetings. Every visitor is registered and tracked, helping us understand how the centre is being used and by whom. This data drives our continuous improvement and helps us report to our partners at UCI and the Rwanda Cycling Federation (FERWACY).
